When Amelia Jenson, lost her husband recently just after their 50th Wedding Anniversary, she was determined not to waste the rest of her life pining and grieving. She made up a bucket list of everything she wanted to do before she passed from this Earth. Amelia was determined to "Live Life to the Max!"
This is a gameplay challenge that I created and played some time ago. Unfortunately all the instructions were lost when my Blogger disappeared for some unknown reason. I will attempt to write up what I think was included in this challenge. The 10 listed activities, will help tremendously as that is the core of this challenge.
Be sure to read the whole challenge instructions and rules before you start as you may like to choose the order in which you fulfil your elder Sim's bucket list.
RULES ARE USUALLY AS FOLLOWS: * No cheats (including simoleons) other than those you earn through perks and some activities that would be relatable for a retired elder. MOO is allowed if things become tricky in the game and to move furniture etc., around. * Ageing must be set on 'normal'. * Your elder cannot get a ' young adult or adult career' as such, but they can use other means to make money such as the teen jobs like 'babysitting' or other part-time jobs under this category. You may use things like flower arranging, woodworking table, candle, pumpkin carving, selling collections as long as those specified below are on display. * You are allowed to use the Youth potion, but only twice to draw out your elder Sim's time to complete her bucket list. * Your elder must live out her full life and you must allow them to pass away. (*see below for more information).
INSTRUCTIONS: - Create your elder Sim in CAS male or female. - Buy a block and either build a house with the money you have left or download one from the gallery. You may add or extend your home as money allows. - Make at least 5 friends, one from each age group; child, teen, young adult, and elder. You may like to include a toddler as well to make it more challenging. - Take a selfie with each of your friends and frame them up on a wall in your Sim's home. - Collections that need to be found are as follows: 3 crystals, 3 frogs, (breed 2), dig up 3 fossils, 3 metals, and 3 Sim trophies. - When you have earnt extra simoleons...or whenever you can afford to... - Buy an easel to paint 1 picture in at least 4 genres and put on display. - Buy seeds and grow 6 magnificent plants of any sort. - Catch 6 different fish and display them on a wall. - Find some way to get up to at least fitness level 6, more if you choose, either with or without spending simoleons. - Buy a computer or tablet and write one story from 4 different genres. - Take a vacation at some time during your life span and join into a dance. - You may invite one of your friends to move in if you choose, but without bringing Simoleons with them. They can earn money in the same way as your elder to help out, but must otherwise be unemployed. *When your elder Sim passes away, have a plot of land ready to add their headstone to remember them.
If all of these things are fulfilled then you have completed the "Livin' Life to the Max!" challenge. Have fun and if you have images and a story to go with it, I'd love to see and comment on it. You will receive an award with your elder Sim's image in a frame that you can keep. Go to "Jen's Competitions and Participants", and your awards will be there proudly for all to see.
